Coming Examinations

Exit Examination January 2010

Trainees who have completed their Higher Specialist Training (including at least 1 year of general O&G training) can now apply for the coming Exit Assessment in January 2010.

They will have to submit their application forms for the Assessment with a remittance of HK$4,000 as Assessment Fee to the College not later than 30 October 2009. Such applications will be received and approved in the May 2009 Education Committee Meeting. Applicants will then be requested to submit their logbooks for Higher Specialist Training for inspection by 30 November 2009 once their applications are accepted for the
Exit Assessment.

SOE Oct 2009

The next HKCOG Structured Oral Examination (SOE) would be held on Monday 5th October 2009 at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong.

Trainees who had passed the MRCOG Part 1 examination and satisfactorily completed 2 years of supervised training in obstetrics and gynaecology are eligible to apply to sit for the examination.  Eligible candidates should complete the followings and return to the College Secretariat before 5 p.m. 28th August 2009.

1. Application form for Structured Oral Examination

2. Statistical summary of the log books (if this has not previously been submitted), and

3. A cheque of HKD$4,000.00 payable to the Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

LATE OR INCOMPLETE SUBMISSION FOR WHATEVER REASON WOULD NOT BE ENTERTAINED.  THE CANDIDATE MUST BE A REGISTERED TRAINEE OF HKCOG.

THE EXAMINATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

The result would be released on 7th October 2009.
