Community Gynaecology

This is a Diploma course organized by the HKCOG.  A diploma will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the programme and passing the final assessment. The aims of this course are:

• To promote the practice of community gynaecology among primary care doctors and bridge the gap between primary and secondary care.

• To improve the knowledge and skills of O&G trainees in Community Gynaecology and make Community Gynaecology training part of the overall training for gynaecology specialist.

The Course involves three parts:

1. Clinical teaching (the trainee will attach to a Gynaecology teaching unit in Hong Kong);

2. Out-reached Community based attachment programme; and

3. Seminars / Lectures / Education / Tutorials

Examination of the Diploma in Community Gynaecology to be held on 25th July 2009. Candidates who wish to take the examination should complete the application form and send to the College before 30th April 2009
